Thanks for stopping by! My name is Tom Pleatman and I focus my work on taking wood from fallen trees to create pieces that keep the memory of the tree alive.
I particularly enjoy doing commission work = making bowls or other objects from particular fallen trees that were meaningful to you. I have done work for individuals, colleges, horticultural societies, environmental groups, arboretums and public gardens.
Please email me at info@TreasuredWood.com for more information.
My work is currently on display and for sale at:

Tyler Arboretum 515 Painter Road, Media, PA 19063
The Morris Arboretum of the University of Pennsylvania 100 Northwestern Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19118
I hold 2 Open Studio events (Spring and Fall) when you can see the equipment I use as well as bowls in various stages of development from logs to finished pieces. Many pieces will be for sale. I hope I'll see you there!
The next event will be Sunday, November 22, 2009 - write to us for details! |
